Update and uninstall

Keep Link Host current, or remove it cleanly.

Update

Run the install command again. It replaces link-host, restarts its service, and keeps your paired phones, relay and identity.

curl -fsSL https://link.docs.razin.ai/install.sh | sh
irm https://link.docs.razin.ai/install.ps1 | iex

Check the version with link-host version. Releases and their notes are on GitHub. If you deployed your own relay, run link-host relay deploy after updating to update it too.

Uninstall

curl -fsSL https://link.docs.razin.ai/uninstall.sh | sh
irm https://link.docs.razin.ai/uninstall.ps1 | iex

This stops and removes Link Host and its service. On Linux it also stops Link's SSH server and deletes its folder, ~/.config/link/sshd, so paired phones can no longer sign in.

It keeps the computer's identity and its relay and rendezvous settings, so a reinstall comes back as the same computer. To remove those too:

curl -fsSL https://link.docs.razin.ai/uninstall.sh | sh -s -- --purge

On Windows, run $env:LINK_HOST_PURGE = "1" before the uninstall command. A purged identity can't be recovered; phones will need to pair again.

Uninstalling doesn't touch your agents, their sessions, tmux sessions, or a relay on your Cloudflare account (delete the link-relay Worker in the dashboard to remove it).
